David and Linda Polzin celebrate 50th wedding anniversary

David and Linda (Edwards) Polzin, of Perrysburg, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married on August 14, 1971, at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, Defiance. They are the parents of Kurt (Sheri), Huntsville, Alabama, and Amanda (Jim Drohan), Loveland, Ohio. They have five grandchildren: Allie and Reagan Polzin, Camdyn, Taigan and Breckin Drohan.

David, a graduate of Rossford High School, and Linda, a graduate of Defiance High School, met while attending Defiance College. Although one year apart in age, the couple share the same birthday. David and Linda’s first home as a married couple was in Perrysburg. Life took them to several different homes over the years before returning to Perrysburg, where they have spent the last 34 years.
