MARVIN LECK

Marvin E. “Marv” Leck, 89, of Perrysburg, died March 2, 2010. He was born on February 2, 1921, in Toledo, to Edward and Alma (Becker) Leck. He served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II. Mr. Leck graduated from Purdue University with a bachelor of arts degree in mechanical engineering. He was employed with Gulf Oil Company for 23 years before going into business for himself as the owner of Graham Equipment. He was a longtime member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Toledo. He is survived by his daughter, Sheri Ellis; grandson, Corey (Lisa) Ellis; great-granddaughters, Cayla and Chloe Ellis; sister, Betty (Russ) Frautschi; sister-in-law, Ruth Leck, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marcella, on July 13, 2009. Funeral services were held Monday, March 8, at the Sujkowski Funeral Home of Rossford, with the Rev. Doug Haryu officiating. Interment was in Fort Meigs Cemetery in Perrysburg. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or the American Diabetes Association.


MARGARET RINEHART
Margaret T. Rinehart died Saturday February 27, 2010, at Archbold Hospital. She was born at Belmont Farms to John Tobey and Lulu Swint on May 20, 1920. She was a 1938 graduate of Perrysburg High School and received her nursing degree from Toledo Hospital. She served as a nurse in North Africa as a 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Army during World War II. Upon retiring from the service, Ms. Rinehart performed private duty and later became a school nurse in the Perrysburg School System. She married Dr. John Rinehart, a long time superintendent of the Perrysburg School System. Ms. Rinehart enjoyed her books, walking, friends, the Broken Egg, and her grandchildren. She is survived by her children, John Oberwetter of Culver, Indiana; John Rinehart of Belgrade, Maine; Jan Pittman of Coppell, Texas, and Thomas Rinehart of Thomasville, Georgia; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Family services will be held in Perrysburg. Memorial donations may be made to the Halcyon Home, P.O. Box 1838, Thomasville, Georgia 31799.




JERRY ULM

Jerry Ulm, 60, of Perrysburg, died Monday, March 1, 2010. at his home. He was born in Galesburg, Illinois, to Elvin and Dorothy (Stockwell) Ulm. He married Susan Przybylowski on March 17, 1972. He worked his entire life in the transportation/ logistics industry. He was currently employed as the global carrier relations leader for Owens Corning and was recently on a team that was awarded the OC Board of Directors Cup, which is the highest honor given at Owens Corning for a cross-functional team which uses company resources to deliver extraordinary results for customers, employees and shareholders. Mr. Ulm was an avid golfer, having played at prestigious courses around the country, including Pebble Beach, Augusta National and Torrey Pines. He was a Knights of Columbus 4th Degree Knight, and a member of St. Rose Catholic Church in Perrysburg. He was the past president of the Rotary Clubs in Galesburg, and Fostoria, Ohio, and the Soangethaha Country Club in Galesburg. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Susan Ulm; brother, Philip (Sylvia) Ulm; nephew, Anthony Ulm; niece, Kerry (David) Ose; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Casimer and Helen Przybylowski; brothers and sisters-in-law, Daniel (Moira) Przybylowski, Mary (Dick) Losey, Edward (Caron) Prisby, Anne (Douglas) Barrientos, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services were held Friday, March 5, at the Sujkowski Funeral Home of Rossford, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Rose Church at 10:15 a.m., with the Rev. Marvin Borger officiating. Interment was in St. Rose Cemetery. YVONNE KINDERVATER
Yvonne J. Kindervater, 85, died Thursday, December 16, 2009, in Lansing, Michigan. She was born November 20, 1924, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to Howard and Vallie (Doak) Ford. She graduated from Perrysburg High School, then received a bachelor of arts degree in sociology from Bowling Green State University. She was the drum major for her high school marching band, a member of the National Honor Society and had leading roles in high school, college and civic theater plays. She enjoyed ballet, ice skating, reading, sewing. gardening, camping and the outdoors. Mrs. Kindervater is survived by her husband of 62 years, Richard F.; son, Richard A. Kindervater; grandsons, Gabriel and Ross (Jennifer) Kindervater; great-grandson, Matthew Kindervater, and sister, Dell Ford. Private family services were held December 21, at the Palmer Bush and Jensen Family Funeral Homes, Lansing Chapel, with Chaplain Stephen Ezop officiating. Interment was in Evergreen Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be sent to Hospice of Lansing or the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
