Engagement Announcements

Matthew Dalbey and Stephanie Smucker
engaged to wed

Stephanie Michelle Smucker and Matthew Alan Dalbey announce their engagement.
Stephanie is the daughter of Don and Jane Smucker of Coldwater, Michigan, and formerly of Perrysburg.
Matthew is the son of Rick and Tammy Dalbey of Downers Grove, Illinois.
Stephanie graduated from Perrysburg High School in 2001 and from Anderson University in 2005, with a bachelor’s degree in communications. Upon completing cosmetology school in November 2008, she moved to Illinois, where she is a hair stylist at Frank Gironda Salon and Spa in Naperville.
Matthew graduated from Timothy Christian High School in 2000 and from Anderson University in 2004, with a bachelor’s degree in business management. After college, he began his career at his family-owned business, Advanced Parts and Service, where he installs and services commercial kitchen equipment.
A May 1, 2010, wedding on the beach in Sarasota, Florida, is planned.


Marriage Announcements

Grant Klinksiek and Amber Whorrall
united in marriage

Amber Whorrall and Grant Klinksiek were united in marriage on February 12, 2010, at Castle Post, Versailles, Kentucky. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. George Waddle, grandfather of the bride.
The bride is the daughter of Buddy and Karen Whorrall of Jackson, Kentucky.
The bridegroom is the son of Tammar and Sidney Klinksiek of Lexington, Kentucky, and formerly of Perrysburg. He is the grandson of Shirley Cannon of Perrysburg, and the late Col. William Cannon, and Belton and Josie Klinksiek of Fredericksburg, Texas.
The Maid of Honor was Meghan Whorrall of Jackson, Kentucky, sister of the bride. The flower girl was Pierra Rowell. The Best Man was Blake Klinksiek of Columbus, Ohio, brother of the bridegroom. Ushers were Weston Klinksiek of Columbus, and Slade Klinksiek of Lexington, brothers of the bridegroom, and Jacob Noger. The ring bearer was Sammy Waddle.
The bride graduated from Breathitt County High School and attends Moorhead State University, where she is pursuing a nursing degree.
The bridegroom attending Perrysburg High School and Henry Clay High School in Lexington. He currently is attending the University of the Cumberlands on a football and academic scholarship and is pursuing a business degree.
The couple resides in Williamsburg, Kentucky.



Craig Thayer and Molly Branson
united in marriage

Craig Thayer, son of Dennis and Jean Thayer, and Molly Branson, daughter of Barbara Branson and the late Stephen Branson, were married at sunset on November 22, 2009, in Manzanillo, Mexico.
Molly is director of elementary literacy at the University of Chicago’s Urban Education Institute.
Craig is a Global Food and Drink Trend Analyst for Mintel Inspire. They reside in Chicago.
